Digital Marketing Manager, Alltech
Anand Iyer joined Alltech in 2012 as part of the Career Development Program and has been a member of Alltech digital team for the past eight years. During that time, he has served as the Asia-Pacific web specialist, handling regional social media accounts and building the Alltech brand in Asia through country websites and social media. He later moved to corporate headquarters in Nicholasville, Kentucky, where he took on the position of web marketing manager. He has been responsible for global website development, lead generation campaigns and event promotion through digital channels.
In 2018, Iyer was selected to be part of the inaugural internal cohort of the Pearse Lyons Accelerator in Dublin, Ireland, and his efforts resulted in the launch of the e-commerce store that sells Alltech’s animal nutrition supplements online. He was promoted to digital marketing manager in 2019, and in this role, his responsibilities include leading the global digital team and establishing governance and policies regarding the use of marketing automation systems, e-commerce platforms, analytics, the cloud, contact databases and customer acquisition strategy through digital channels. Iyer also oversees Alltech’s paid search and social media advertising campaigns, website development, search engine optimization and overall strategy. He also participates in guiding and supervising the acquisition of online leads and systems for nurturing leads, developing them into sales-qualified leads and handoffs to CRM.
Iyer is a graduate of Alltech’s Mini-MBA executive management program, offered in conjunction with University College Dublin. Additionally, he has received certification from Facebook, Google, Coursera and HubSpot on various digital advertising, SEO and marketing strategies. Prior to joining Alltech in 2012, he received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune and a master’s degree in software engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand .
