Dr. Jessica Knurick, director of clinical product and education at Toolbox Genomics, is a healthcare practitioner, researcher and speaker dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals through easily adoptable, preventive health strategies.
After spending nearly a decade conducting research and working closely with individual clients to improve their health, she knows the importance of prevention in healthcare and is passionate about bridging the gap between scientific research and universal practice by bringing evidence-based, accurate health and nutrition information to our communities. She has lectured and presented nationally, consulted for small and large corporations, and published several articles on nutrition and health topics.
Prior to joining Toolbox Genomics, Knurick was an assistant professor of nutrition at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she taught courses and conducted research into preventive health strategies and personalized approaches to reduce risk of chronic disease. Knurick is a registered dietitian nutritionist and holds a Ph.D. in physical activity, nutrition and wellness from Arizona State University.
