Dr. Kayla Price currently serves as the Canadian technical manager for Alltech Canada. In this role, she provides technical and sales support and also makes contributions in the areas of research and regulatory. As a part of her research role, Price also serves an adjunct professor in the Ontario Agriculture College at the University of Guelph and has served on advisory committees for students in the masters and doctoral programs. She is also an active member of several industry committees.
Prior to joining Alltech, Price received a doctoral degree from the University of Guelph, where her work focused on coccidiosis in chickens. During her time at the university, she was the recipient of many prestigious awards.
In her work with Alltech, Price has continued pursuing her passion for poultry intestinal health and has broadened her knowledge base to cover all types of poultry production. She has worked to share what she has discovered about the intestinal health and management of birds with others in the poultry industry.
Price has been invited to speak and present on many topics at various national and global conferences and has authored articles for internal use as well as for external trade publications. She is a strong advocate for the poultry industry, which she believes is ever-changing, and she strives to share this enthusiasm with others.
