The Gardiner Brothers (Matthew and Michael) are a five-time world-champion Irish dancing team. Born in Denver, Colorado, the brothers began Irish dancing at the age of 3. They moved to Ireland in 2006 and continued dancing at the Hession School of Irish Dance.
Over the course of their competitive careers, the Gardiner Brothers have won more than 50 major championship titles, including five world championships between them. They made Irish dancing history in 2015, when they both won respective world titles in the same year. They are members of the world-famous Riverdance group and have toured internationally with the company.
The Gardiner Brothers have become popular on social media by posting videos of themselves Irish dancing to various types of music that have wowed a worldwide audience. They both teach and choreograph dances for schools and events all over the world and love sharing their talents and Irish culture for all to enjoy. They also take part in online workshops and seminars for culture and dance and have appeared on national television and radio multiple times.
Along with their Irish dancing careers, Matthew is also currently studying civil engineering in the National University of Ireland, Galway, and Michael is a qualified architect.
