Kathryn Britton

Senior Director of Operations, IMI Global

Kathryn Britton is the senior director of operations at IMI Global, the founding division of Where Food Comes From, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for complete operational performance, including the successful verification experience of more than 6,500 farm and ranch customers through the management of an outstanding team. She leads collaborative efforts with industry partners and continuously assesses the market to ensure that existing and emerging opportunities are accessible to and leveraged for all IMI Global customers.

While representing IMI Global, Britton has been an active sitting member of the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, was a two-time planning committee member for the National Institute for Animal Agriculture and served as a voting representative on the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Policy Board. Additionally, she co-chaired the Cattle Traceability Working Group Liability Committee and was also a dedicated member of the Colorado State University Equine Sciences Advisory Committee.

Britton has spoken at countless events on topics such as third-party verification, beef market opportunities, export and trade, consumer demand and agricultural careers. She received the Colorado State University Distinguished Young Alumni Award and was recognized by ColoradoBiz Magazine as one of the Top Young Influential Professionals in 2019.
