Len Monheit has been active in the healthy lifestyle industry for more than 20 years, starting initially as the co-founder of a digital media company, NPIcenter (acquired by New Hope). Following that, as part of New Hope’s senior leadership team, Monheit held several roles, including digital media director; ingredient portfolio manager for Functional Ingredients, Engredea and Nutracon; international market leadership positions in Japan, China and India; and strategic business development with Nutrition Business Journal. Monheit then transitioned to William Reed Business Media as the general manager for North America, where he worked with NutraIngredients-USA, FoodNavigator-USA and Probiota-Americas.
Monheit has provided guidance to ingredient, supplement and natural product companies around the world on topics including the market, growth strategy and the supply chain.
Monheit currently serves as the CEO of Trust Transparency Center, a consultancy focusing on organizational culture, the supply chain and growth strategy. He is also the executive director of the Global Prebiotic Association. In this role, Monheit stewards the prebiotic category and acts as its representative within the industry and with the media, practitioners, regulators and other influencers.
Monheit received an honors degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Western University in Ontario, Canada.
